From a very young age I have enjoyed working with children, whether volunteering at the church nursery or as a Director of summer camps through college.  Growing up in South Florida the love of water came quite natural. I didn't realize the two could come together until I enrolled my daughter in swimming lessons at nine months old. I soon realized how amazing and important swimming lessons were. Drowning is the second leading cause of unintentional death among children age 1-4. In Florida, there is water everywhere you look, whether it be a small pond or a neighbor's pool. It only takes a second for a child to wander and find themselves in trouble.
